Why do you have non fiction literature on the Hard 75 program? 10 pages of Tolstoy or Emily Brontë would be a hell of lot better for you than 10 pages of Sapiens.

This is probably the most obscure comment I've had. Thanks?

Ha sorry. It was just bugging me. Obviously not criticizing you since you are just describing someone else’s methods.

She used the 75 Hard guidelines for action. But it’s my training and nutrition programming this client is on.

Yes I understand that. I’m referring to the paragraph describing the program your client was on prior to yours which included 10 daily habits such as reading 10 pages per day of non fiction literature.

That requirement isn’t mine. You’d have to ask the 75 Hard author about that one.

I love it when coaches do these breakdowns. Always something to learn. For me, with my orthorexic tendencies, it was the importance of averaging calories rather than obsessing over perfect days

Hey John,

I'm a big fan of assessing averages versus daily numbers. When I work with a client, I'm looking at average calorie and protein intake each week, along with average scale weight.

I'm also not a fan of striving for perfect macros on any day. It's just too much to worry about and it's not even necessary for any physical goal.

Thanks for reading!
