This was fascinating to read. I love hearing new perspectives from your audience. I am surprised by your stance and I totally get what you mean. You might not have went after it with unrelenting tenacity had you known. You're saying allow the kids to dream no matter what. Just like we say shoot for the stars for their occupation. We don't start talking about interest rates, mortgage payments, and the crap that comes with being an adult by the time their eighth birthday rolls around. We allow them to stay in that innocent bubble for as long as possible. Excellent read!
Yes, exactly. Let them believe they can do more than what's possible in certain situations. Let that belief be the fuel that gets them to the point where they're locked in and won't stop, even if they realize they can't get quite as far as they initially thought. Blind ambition and motivation is important for everyone from time to time.
Learning can lead to both self development and self destruction. Studying deep into any major health related decision is very important. The amount of information and disinformation on the internet today is mind blowing. I feel bad for the access our kids have today and I’ll leave it at that.
This is a whole different article/subject, but I have felt that our ability to access information so readily and also our ability to communicate so easily and quickly are things that are hurting the human race. Like you said, information overload isn't always a good thing and it can hurt people. Well said.
I do feel swindled when I find out an influencer or someone I follow says they use PEDs. It's fine if that's how they want to train, but I want to follow and respect someone within whom, I see a glimpse of myself. It gives me hope and not an unrealistic expectation
It bothers me if they're doing this to sell products, without disclosing that the PEDs are what's making them so strong, muscular, lean, etc. In those cases, it isn't the supplements or the products they're selling, it's the PEDs. That's when legit swindling is going on. There are some high-level influencers/competitors out there who sell products and will go to their grave lying about PED usage, even though it's so obvious. It's poor character....
