Before getting into Week 5, I want to make sure you’ve completed Weeks 1-4. This isn’t a ‘drop in’ type of program and starting at Week 5 will not give you the full experience and maximal benefits of this program.
If you haven’t done so, please start with the first installment in this series and complete Weeks 1-4 of training. Once you’ve completed Week 4, I’ll see you back here for Week 5!
Finalizing Chapter 3
This micro is focused on testing yourself. When you approach these upcoming AMRAP sets, just remember that each one is a single set only, so lay it all out there. When you feel like stopping, but you know deep down you can do more, you have to tell yourself that the pain is brief, and you will feel more successful when it’s over and done with if you truly push yourself beyond your comfort zone.
Only you will know if you gave it everything…or if you didn’t. When you’re exiting through those gym doors, which scenario will feel better; wondering if you would’ve nailed that last rep or knowing that you did? We both know the answer.
