I have one leg day that's so tough, I have to break it up into 2 days. It's sumo deads and hip thrusts plus some ancillary leg exercises. The sumos and hip thrusts usually kill me before I make it to anything else🤣

Stephanie, my GST program, when done with the full four day split, breaks legs up into two days; a posterior focused day and an anterior focused day. Each one has three compounds and 1-2 isolations, so I know what you're feeling. Of course, set/rep variations in programming can make the same set of exercises wildly different. What are you generally doing for those first two compounds in terms of sets/reps?

It depends on the week. Today I'm doing 3 sets of 6 reps for both. My weights have gotten so high (for me) that the sheer volume wears me out. Today is 195 for both. So then I throw in some abs and maybe cardio.

Get on that GST time! You have the book and it's your style of training. Based on what you've mentioned so far, I believe you'll really like it. Those are great poundages too, especially for those deadlifts!
